CH7213 - USB Type - C Controller

Chrontel’s CH7213 is a low cost USB Type-C logic controller. The device is designed to follow the USB Type-C Specification 1.0 and the USB Power Delivery Specification Revision 2.0, Version 1.1. The device integrates PD control and plug orientation detection module, HPD to PD bidirectional converter, USB billboard and the microprocessor to handle the cable logic communication which covers all the application of USB Type C products.

 

In order to save the BOM cost of the end product such as cable, the CH7213 also integrates all necessary components and circuits, such as LDO, clock generation, isolation circuit, Ra, Rd and Rp etc.
